Restaurant Style Paneer Lahori Recipe - Paneer Lahori Recipe with Lakshmi Recipes

Procedure for making Paneer Lahori:

  1. Cut out 200 grams of paneer into pieces of desired shape and sizes, and then heat some oil in a non-stick pan. Add the paneer pieces to the hot oil and fry them lightly till they turn golden red in color. Then transfer the paneer pieces to a plate.
  2. Now add cumin seeds, cloves, black cardamom, green cardamom and cinnamon stick to the same kadhai. Saute the ingredients lightly.
  3. Now add tomato, green chilli, ginger, garlic and onion to the kadhai and saute the ingredients lightly.
  4. Then add cashews and saute them too for 5 minutes. Then turn off the flame.
  5. Transfer the sauteed ingredients to a mixer jar and grind them to form a fine paste. Don't grind the sauteed ingredients when they are hot, because they might come out of the jar while grinding.
  6. Now add some more oil to the kadhai and chopped onion to it. Saute the onion till it turns golden red.
  7. Add turmeric powder and the ground paste that was prepared earlier.
  8. When the masala is half cooked, then add salt, coriander powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder and red chilli powder to the kadhai. Mix and cook the ingredients together.
  9. Cook the ingredients till oil begins to seperate from the cooking masala.
  10. Then add cream to the kadhai and stir rigorously to mix it well.
  11. Now add water to the kadhai and allow it to boil and then add 1/2 tea spoon garam masala powder to it. Allow the gravy prepared to boil for 1 minute.
  12. Then add the paneer pieces and kasturi methi to the gravy prepared and mix well.
  13. Lower the flame and cover the kadhai with a lid and let it cook for 2 minutes. Turn off the flame after 2 minutes and transfer the prepared paneer lahori to a serving dish and serve with hot phulkas or parathas.

(Tip: Paneer Lahori curry is spicy in taste. You can alter the spiciness as per your taste.)

पनीर लाहौरी बनाने की प्रक्रिया:

  1. 200 ग्राम पनीर को मन चाहे आकार में काट लें, और फिर नॉन-स्टिक पैन या कढ़ाई में थोड़ा तेल डालकर गरम करें। पनीर के टुकड़ों को गरम तेल में डालें और उनको रंग में हल्का सुनहरा लाल होने तक भूनें। फिर इन पनीर के टुकड़ों को एक प्लेट में निकाल लें।
  2. अब एक ही कढ़ाई में साबुत जीरा, लौंग, बड़ी इलायची, छोटी इलायची और दालचीनी डालें और भूनें।
  3. अब कढ़ाई में टमाटर, हरी मिर्च, अदरक, लहसुन और प्याज डालें और हल्का सा भूनें।
  4. फिर काजू डालें और उन्हें सारी सामग्री के साथ 5 मिनट तक भूनें। फिर गैस बंद कर दें।
  5. एक मिक्सर जार में भूनी हुई सामग्री को निकाल लें और पीसकर पेस्ट बना लें।
  6. अब कढ़ाई में थोड़ा और तेल और कटा हुआ प्याज डालें। प्याज को सुनहरा लाल होने तक भूनें।
  7. फिर इसमें हल्दी पाउडर और पहले तैयार किया हुआ पेस्ट डालें।
  8. जब मसाला आधा पक जाए, तो कढ़ाई में नमक, धनिया पाउडर, जीरा पाउडर, काली मिर्च पाउडर और लाल मिर्च पाउडर डालें और मिलाएं और सामग्री को एक साथ पकाएं।
  9. जब मसाले से तेल अलग होने लगे तब कढ़ाई में क्रीम डालें और अच्छी तरह से मिलाएं।
  10. अब कढ़ाई में पानी डालें और इसमें उबाल आने दें और फिर इसमें 1/2 छोटा चम्मच गरम मसाला पाउडर डालें। ग्रेवी को 1 मिनट तक उबलने दें।
  11. फिर पनीर के टुकड़ों को और कस्तुरी मेथी को तैयार ग्रेवी में डालें और अच्छी तरह मिलाएं।
  12. आंच को कम कर दें और ढक्कन से कढ़ाई को ढक दें और इसे 2 मिनट तक पकाएं। 2 मिनट के बाद गैस बंद कर दें और तैयार पनीर लाहोरी को एक गरमा-गरम फुल्का या पराठा के साथ परोसें।
