Khoye Ke Pede Recipe - Learn How To Make Khoye Ke Pede

An easy to make fresh, creamy and beautiful sweet dish to celebrate all occasions big or small. Easy and tasty khoya ke pede or mawa pede can be made and stored to be eaten whenever you have a craving for something sweet and delicious.

Prepare these delicious Khoya Ka Peda or Khoye Ke Pede or Mawa Peda or Mava Peda with the help of a detailed recipe given below:

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 1 hours for making fresh khoya from full cream milk + 10-15 minutes for making Khoya Ka Peda or Khoye Ke Pede

Recipe Yield: 4 Khoya Ka Peda or Khoye Ke Pede

Alternate Names: Khoya Ka Peda, Khoye Ke Pede, Mawa Peda, Mawa Pede, Dudh ke Pede, Dudh Ka Peda, Mava Peda, Mava Pede

Ingredients for making Khoya Ka Peda or Khoye Ke Pede:

  • Milk for making khoya or Khoya banane ke liye dudh - 2 litres (use full cream milk for making khoya)
  • Sugar or cheeni - as per taste or requirement; use powdered sugar or pisi hui cheeni for making Khoya Ka Peda or Khoye Ke Pede
  • Crushed green cardamom or chhoti elaichi - 2
  • Dry fruits (Almonds/badaam or cashews/kaju or pistachios/pista or raisins/kismis) - as per requirement

Procedure for making Khoya Ka Peda or Khoye Ke Pede:

  1. Pour 2 litre milk in a deep vessel and allow it to boil.
  2. Then lower the flame and stir and cook the milk till it dries up to form creamy khoya. (You can also use fresh khoya available in market for making Khoye Ka Peda or Khoye Ke Pede. But it should be fresh.)
  3. Transfer the prepared khoya to a plate and allow it to cool. Then crumble it with your hands.
  4. Heat a kadhai and add the crumbled khoya to it. Lower the flame to low level.
  5. Stir and cook the crumbled khoya till it attains a uniform light red colour.
  6. Then transfer the cooked crumbled khoya to a plate and allow it to cool a little.
  7. When the cooked khoya is slightly cooled then add powdered sugar and crushed cardamom to it. Mix the ingredients well together.
  8. Divide the mixture into equal parts and then take one part in your hand. Press and give it a shape of peda. Prepare all the peda in the same manner.
  9. Now garnish each of it with a dry fruit of your choice. Place one small piece of dry fruit at the center of each peda and press it lightly. The beautiful, easy to make, creamy and fresh Khoye Ka Peda or Khoye Ke Pede are ready to be served.

खोये का पेड़ा या खोये के पेड़े बनाने की प्रक्रिया:

  1. एक गहरी पतीले में 2 लीटर दूध डालें और इसे उबाल लें।
  2. फिर आंच को कम कर दें और लगातार चलाते हुए दूध पकाएं जब तक कि यह पूरी तरह से सूख कर क्रीमी खोया न बन जाए। (आप चाहें तो खोये का पेड़ा या खोये के पेड़े बनाने के लिए बाजार के ताजा खोये का भी उपयोग कर सकते हैं। लेकिन खोया एकदम ताजा होना चाहिए।)
  3. एक थाली में तैयार खोये को निकालें और इसे ठंडा होने दें। फिर इसे अपने हाथों से हल्का-दरदरा होने तक मसल लें।
  4. एक कढ़ाई गरम करें और इसमें मसला हुआ खोया डालें। आंच को कम कर दें।
  5. लगातार चलाते हुए और खोया को हल्का लाल रंग का होने तक भूनें।
  6. फिर भूने हुए खोये को एक प्लेट में निकालें और इसे थोड़ा ठंडा होने दें।
  7. जब भुना हुआ खोया थोड़ा ठंडा होजाए तो इसमें पिसी हुई चीनी और कुचली हुइ छोटी इलायची डालें। सामग्री को अच्छी तरह हाथ से मिलाएं।
  8. मिश्रण को समान भागों में बांट लें और फिर एक हिस्सा अपने हाथ में लें। इसे दबाते हुए पेड़ा का आकार दें। इसी तरह से पेड़े तैयार करें।
  9. अब अपनी पसंद के ड्राई फ्रूट्स के साथ खोये के पेड़ों को गार्निश करें। खोये के पेड़ों के बीच में ड्राई फ्रूट्स का एक छोटा टुकड़ा रखें और इसे हल्के से दबा दें। सुंदर, बनाने में आसान, क्रीमी और ताजा खोये का पेड़ा या खोये के पेड़े तैयार हैं।
