Oats Laddu Recipe - Learn How To Make Oats Laddu

Oats Laddu is a healthy sweet dish that can be eaten for dessert or as snack or whenever you have an intense craving for sweet. Oats laddu are very easy to make and taste awesome. Have it for breakfast or brunch or you can even carry them along while travelling.

Prepare these easy to make oats laddu with the help of an easy and detailed recipe, step by step photos given below:

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Recipe Yield: 12 laddu (quantity may vary depending upon the size)

Ingredients for making Oats Laddu:

  • Oats - 2 big cup
  • Clean Jaggery or Organic Jaggery - 1 big cup or as per taste
  • Shudh Ghee - 1 big cup or as per requirement for making laddus

Procedure for making Oats Laddu:

  1. Use only plain oats for making oats laddu.
  2. Heat a big and thick based kadhai and add oats to it. Lower the flame to medium level and dry roast the oats until they turn reddish brown in color. Do not over-roast the oats, otherwise they may turn black in color. then turn off the flame.
  3. Transfer the roasted oats to a mixer jar.
  4. Add jaggery pieces to the mixer jar and grind the 2 ingredients together. You can grind the ingredients to form a fine powder like texture or you can grind it lightly to retain a slight coarse texture of the oats. The light coarse texture will give the laddu slight crispiness.
  5. Transfer this ground mixture of roasted oats and jaggery to a plate and start adding ghee to it slowly.
  6. Mix the ingredients and stop adding ghee when the mixture begins to bind. Start binding the mixture into a laddu of a desired size. Prepare laddus of the remaining mixture in the same way. The tasty, healthy and filling oats laddus are now ready to be served.

ओट्स लड्डू बनाने की प्रक्रिया:

  1. ओट्स लड्डू बनाने के लिए केवल सादे ओट्स या सादे जई का हि प्रयोग करें।
  2. एक बड़ी और मोटे तले कि कढ़ाई गरम करें और इसमें सादे ओट्स या सादे जई डालें। आँच को मध्यम स्तर तक कम करें और सादे ओट्स या सादे जई को सूखा ही भून लें, जब तक कि हल्के भूरे रंग के न हो जाए। ओट्स या जई को ज्यादा देर तक न भूनें, नहीं तो वे रंग में काले हो जाएंगे। फिर गैस बंद कर दें।
  3. भुने हुआ ओट्स या जई को मिक्सर जार में डालें।
  4. मिक्सर जार में गुड़ के टुकड़े डालें और दोनों सामग्री को एक साथ पीस लें। आप ओट्स या जई को बारीक भी पीस सकते हैं या आप ओट्स या जई को दरदरा भी पीस सकते हैं। दरदरे पिसे हुए ओट्स या जई के लड्डू थोड़े सा कुरकुरे से होते हैं।
  5. पिसे हुए ओट्स या जई और गुड़ के मिश्रण को एक प्लेट में निकालें और इसमें धीरे-धीरे घी डालना शुरू करें।
  6. सामग्री को मिलाएं और जब ओट्स या जई और गुड़ का मिश्रण बंधना शुरु होजाए तो घी डालना बंद कर दें। अब इस  मिश्रण के लड्डू बनाना शुरू करें। आपके स्वादिष्ट और स्वास्थ से भरपूर्ण ओट्स लड्डू परोसने के लिए तैयार हैं।
