Mungfali Ka Halwa Recipe - Learn How To Make Mungfali Ka Halwa

It is extremely to make, very nutritious and a filling dish for day long vrats and fasts. This Peanuts Halwa or Mungfali Ka Halwa or Ground Nut Halwa or Badaam Ka Halwa is a tasty variant dish for all the peanut lovers.

This festive season make this easy and quick to make Peanuts Halwa or Mungfali Ka Halwa or Ground Nut Halwa or Badaam Ka Halwa with the help of a detailed recipe given below:

Preparation Time:  10 minutes to roast the peanuts or mungfali + 5 minutes to remove the peel of peanuts or mungfali + 5 minutes to grind the roasted peanuts or mungfali to form a fine powder

Cooking Time: 7 minutes to cook and serve the Mungfali Ka Halwa or Badaam Ka Halwa or Peanuts Halwa

Recipe Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients for making Mungfali Ka Halwa or Badaam Ka Halwa or Peanuts Halwa:

  • Peanuts or Mungfali - 200 gm
  • Sugar - 1 table spoon or as per taste
  • Shuddh Ghee - 1 table spoon
  • Water - 1 small cup
  • Dry fruits for garnishing: 1 table spoon, finely chopped
    • Cashews (kaju)
    • Almonds (badaam)
    • Raisins (kismis)

Procedure for making Mungfali Ka Halwa or Badaam Ka Halwa or Peanuts Halwa:

  1. Heat a thick based kadhai and add peanuts or mungfali to it. Lower the flame to medium level and dry roast the peanuts or mungfali. Stir continuously to roast the peanuts or mungfali uniformly on all sides.
  2. Transfer the roasted peanuts or mungfali to a plate and then rub them with a thick and clean cloth to remove the peel of the roasted peanuts or mungfali.
  3. Then transfer these roasted peanuts or mungfali to a mixer jar and grind them to form a fine powder of roasted peanuts or mungfali.
  4. Heat a heavy based kahadi and add 1 table spoon shuddh ghee to it.
  5. Now add the powder of roasted peanuts or mungfali to the kadhai and lower the flame to medium level. Stir continuously to roast the powder of roasted peanuts or mungfali in ghee for 2 minutes.
  6. Then add sugar as per taste and 1 small cup water to it. Stir rigorously to mix the ingredients and obtain a uniform halwa like texture.
  7. When the water has dried up and a uniform halwa like texture is obtained then turn off the flame. Garnish the hot, sweet, filling and nutritious peanuts halwa or mungfali ka halwa or badaam ka halwa with dry fruits of your choice and serve.

मूँगफली का हलवा या बदाम का हलवा बनाने की प्रक्रिया:

  1. एक मोटी तले की कढ़ाई गरम करें और उसमें मूँगफली के दाने डालें। आँच को मध्यम स्तर तक कम करें और मूंगफली के दानों को अच्छे से चलाते हुए भूनें। सभी तरफ से समान रूप से मूंगफली के दानों को अच्छे से चलाते हुए भूनें।
  2. भुने हुए मूँगफली के दानों को एक प्लेट में निकाल लें और फिर इस भुने हुए मूँगफली के दानों के छिलके को एक मोटे ओर सूती कपड़े से रगड़-रगड़ कर हटा दें।
  3. फिर इन साफ किये हुए भुने हुए मूँगफली के दानों को एक मिक्सर जार में डालें और फिर भुने हुए मूँगफली के दानों को पीस कर उनका बारीक पाउडर बना लें।
  4. अब एक मोटी तले की कढ़ाई गरम करें और इसमें 1 बड़ा चम्मच शुद्ध घी का डालें।
  5. अब कढ़ाई में भुने हुए मूँगफली के दानों का पाउडर डालें और आँच को मध्यम स्तर तक कम करें। भुने हुए मूँगफली के दानों का पाउडर को 2 मिनट तक घी में लगातार चलाते हुए भूनें।
  6. फिर इसमें 1 बड़ा चम्मच या स्वाद के अनुसार चीनी और 1 छोटा कप पानी डालें। सारी सामग्री को लगातार तेजी से चलाते हुए मिलाएं और पानी के सूखने तक इसे लगातार चलाते हुए पकाएं।
  7. जब पानी सूख जाए और सारी सामग्री मिलकर हल्वे की जैसे दिख्ने लगे तो गैस बन्द कर दें। गरमा-गरम, स्वादिश्ट और पौष्टिक मूँगफली का हलवा या बदाम का हलवा को अपनी पसंद के ड्राई-फ्रूट्स को ऊपर से डालकर से सजाएं और परोसें।
