Mooli Ke Mini-Parathe - Mooli Paratha or Mooli Ka Paratha Recipe With Lakshmi Recipes

Winter meals are incomplete without Mooli Ke Parathe and when made in these mini forms, even kids are sure to fall in love with them. 

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 6 minutes to cook one batch of Mooli Ke mini Parathe

Recipe Yield: 3-4 servings (3-4 mooli ke mini-parathe per serving)

Ingredients for making Mooli Ke Mini Parathe or Mooli Ke Parathe:

  • Raddish or mooli - 2 cups, grated
  • Green Chilli or hari mirch - 7-8, finey chopped
  • Coriander Leaves or dhaniya patti - as per requirement, finely chopped
  • Salt as per taste
  • Whole wheat flour or gehun ka ata - 3 cups
  • Water or pani - as per requirement to prepare the dough
  • Desi ghee - 1 table spoon

Procedure for making Mooli Ke Mini Parathe or Mooli Ke Parathe:

  1. Take whole wheat flour in a deep veseel and add chopped coriander leaves, green chilli and salt to it. Mix all the ingredients well.
  2. Now add 1 table spoon of ghee to this mixture and mix well again.
  3. Then add grated raddish and 2 spoons of water to this mixture. Mix and knead the ingredients to form the dough.
  4. Now divide the dough into small balls.
  5. Heat a tawa and take one ball of the dough and smoothen it with your hands.
  6. Dust some dry flour over the rolling plate and then place this smoothened dough ball over it. Roll it flat and round like a this chapati.
  7. Now cut out small chapatis out of it with a stensil or round cutter (as shown in the images below).
  8. Grease the hot tawa with some refined oil and place these mini chapati like parathas over it to be cooked.
  9. When they are cooked and turned crispy red on one side, then flip them to cook on the other side.
  10. Apply some refined oil on both sides and cook them till they appear nice crispy red on both sides.
  11. Prepare the remaining Mooli Ke Mini-Parathe in the same way and serve hot with chutney or pickle.

(Tips: Prepare the mini-parathe soon after preparing the dough.)

मुली के मिनी पराठे या मूली के पराठे बनाने की प्रक्रिया:

  1. गेहूँ के आटे को एक गहरे बर्तन में डालें और फिर उसमें कटा हुआ हरा धनिया, हरी मिर्च और नमक डालें। सभी सामग्री को अच्छे से मिलाएं।
  2. अब इस मिश्रण में 1 बड़ा चम्मच घी डालें और फिर से अच्छी तरह से मिलाएँ।
  3. फिर इस मिश्रण में कद्दू-कस की हुई मूली और 2 चम्मच पानी डालें। आटा बनाने के लिए सामग्री को मिलाएं और गूंधें।
  4. अब गूंधे हुए आटे को छोटी-छोटी लोई काट लें।
  5. एक तवा गरम करें और आटे की एक लोई लें और इसे अपने हाथों से चिकना करें।
  6. चकले के ऊपर कुछ सूखा आटा डस्ट करें और फिर इस लोई को उसके ऊपर रखें। इसे चपाती की तरह गोल और पतला बेल लें।
  7. अब इसमें से छोटी-छोटी चपातियों को एक स्टेंसिल या गोल कटर से काट लें (जैसा कि नीचे दी गई छवियों में दिखाया गया है)।
  8. गरम तावा पर थोड़ा सा रिफाइंड तेल डालकर चिकना कर लें और इन मिनी चपाती को पराठों की तरह रख दें।
  9. जब वे एक तरफ पर पककर खस्ता लाल हो जाएं, तो उन्हें दूसरी तरफ से पकाने के लिए पलट दें।
  10. फिर इनके दोनों तरफ थोड़ा रिफाइंड तेल लगाएं और उन्हें तब तक पकाएं जब तक वे दोनों तरफ से अच्छे से क्रिस्पी लाल न हो जाएँ।
  11. बचे हुए मूली के मिनी पराठों को भी इसी तरह से तैयार करें और चटनी या अचार के साथ गर्मा-गरम परोसें।
