Hare Chane Ka Cheela Recipe - Learn How To Make Hare Chane Ka Cheela

Hare Chane Ka Cheela are thin and crispy pancakes, which is a very quick, healthy and easy to cook snack item. Only a few ingredients are required for is preparation, and it can be relished with very less effort. They can be served alone or enjoyed with some sauce or chutney.

A perfect dish to suffice sudden hunger pangs. Prepare these easy to make Hare Chane Ka Cheela with an easy recipe, step by step photos and recipe video given below:

Preparation Time: 2 hours for soaking the Basmati Rice in water + 5 minutes for preparing the ingredient for Hare Chane Ka Cheela

Cooking Time: 4 minute to cook one Hare Matar Ka Cheela (Here I have made 6 Hare Chane Ka Cheela)

Ingredients for making Hare Chane Ka Cheela:

  • Basmati Rice or Basmati Chawal or बासमती चावल : 1 big cup
  • Green Chickpeas or Hara chana or हरा चना: 1 small cup
  • Green Chilli or hari mirch or हरी मिर्च : 3-4, finely chopped
  • Ginger or adrak or अदरक - 1 inch piece
  • Tomato or tamatar or टमाटर - 1, finely chopped
  • Coriander Leaves or hara dhaniya or धनिया पत्ति- as per requirement
  • Salt as per taste or नमक
  • Cumin Seeds Powder or Jeera Powder or जीरा पाउडर - 1/2 tea spoon
  • Black Pepper Powder or kali mirch powder or काली मिर्च पाउडर - 1/2 tea spoon
  • Red Chilli Powder or lal mirch powder or लाल मिर्च पाउडर - 1/2 tea spoon
  • Garam Masala Powder or गरम मसाला पाउडर - 1/2 tea spoon (you can also use chaat masala powder instead of garam masala powder)
  • Refined Oil or रिफाइंड तेल - as per requirement

Procedure for making Hare Chane Ka Cheela:

  1. Rinse 1 big cup basmati rice with clean water and then soak it in clean water for 2 hours.
  2. Strain off the excess water from the soaked basmati rice and then transfer the soaked basmati rice to a mixer jar.
  3. Add 2 table spoon water to the mixer jar and then grind the soaked basmati rice to form a fine paste. Transfer this paste to a bowl. Check the consistency of the rice paste. If the paste is too thick then add water to prepare a batter of medium thin consistency.
  4. Now add salt, cumin seeds powder, black pepper powder, red chilli powder and garam masala powder to the batter. Mix the ingredients well.
  5. Then add green chick peas, ginger, green chilli, tomato and finely chopped coriander leaves to the batter. Mix the ingredients well again.
  6. Now heat a non-stick pan nicely and grease it with some refined oil. Stir the batter once with a round ladle. Then pour a ladle full batter onto the non-stick pan. The batter will flow and take a round shape like chilla on its own.
  7. Lower the flame to the medium level and allow the hare chane ka chilla to cook slowly in this manner.
  8. Pour 1 tea spoon refined oil along the edge of the hare chane ka chilla.
  9. Then flip the cooking hare chane ka chilla and cook it on the other side for 2 minutes in the same manner.
  10. Pour 1 tea spoon refined oil again along the edge of the cooking hare chane ka chilla. Cook the hare chane ka chilla till it turns crispy on both the side.
  11. Prepare remaining hare chane ka chilla in the same manner and serve them hot.

हरे चना का चीला बनाने की प्रक्रिया:

  1. 1 बड़ा कप बासमती चावल लें और उसे साफ पानी से धो लें। फिर इसे 2 घंटे के लिए साफ पानी में भिगो दें।
  2. भिगोए हुए बासमती चावल से अतिरिक्त पानी को निकाल दें और फिर एक मिक्सर जार में भिगोया हुआ बासमती चावल डालें।
  3. मिक्सर जार में 2 बड़ा चम्मच पानी डालें और फिर भिगोए हुए बासमती चावल को पीसकर बारीक पेस्ट बनालें। इस पेस्ट को एक कटोरे में निकाल लें और इस चावल के पेस्ट की स्थिरता को जांच लें। यदि पेस्ट बहुत मोटी स्थिरता का हो तो उसमें पानी डालकर मिलाएं और एक मध्यम पतली स्थिरता का घोल बना लें।
  4. अब घोल को नमक, जीरा पाउडर, काली मिर्च पाउडर, लाल मिर्च पाउडर और गरम मसाला पाउडर डालें। अच्छी तरह से सामग्री को मिलाएं।
  5. फिर इसमें हरा चना, अदरक, हरी मिर्च, टमाटर और बारीक कटा हुआ धनिया पत्ति डालें। सामग्री को फिर से अच्छी तरह से मिलाएं।
  6. अब एक नॉन-स्टिक पैन गरम करें। एक गोल कल्छी से घोल को अच्छे से चलाएं। फिर नॉन-स्टिक पैन पर उस गोल कल्छी से तैयार हरे चना का चीला के घोल को डालें। हरे चना के चीला का घोल अपने आप ही गोल आकार में फैल जाएगा।
  7. आंच को मध्यम स्तर तक कम करें और हरे चना का चीला के घोल को धीरे-धीरे पकने दें।
  8. पकते हुए हरे चना के चीला के चारों तरफ 1 छोटी चम्मच रिफाइंड तेल घुमाकर डालें।
  9. फिर पकते हुए हरे चना के चीला को पलट दें और दूसरी तरफ भी उसी तरह 2 मिनट के लिए पकाएं।
  10. फिर यदि आवश्यकता हो तो फिर से, हरे चना के चीला के चारों तरफ 1 छोटी चम्मच रिफाइंड तेल घुमाकर डालें। दोनों तरफ क्रिस्पी होनें तक हरे चना के चीला को पकाएं।
  11. इसी तरह से बाकी हरे चना के चीला तैयार करें और उन्हें गरम-गरम परोसें।
