Rabri Sandwich Recipe - Learn How To Make Rabri Sandwich

Pamper your kids with an easy and amazingly toothsome, hot, creamy and crispy rabri sandwiches. They are easy to make and can be served as a snack when your kids return home after playing. Learn to make this easy sandwich dish with its detailed recipe given below:

Preparation Time: 30-35 minutes for rabri preparation; 5 minutes for gathering ingredients

Cooking Time: 10 minutes (5 minutes each for toasting 2 rabri sandwiches)

Recipe Yield: 2 servings (2 sandwiches)

Ingredients for making Rabri Sandwich / सामग्री:

  • Sweet Rabri - 1 small cup; (मीठी रबड़ी)
  • Bread - 4 slices, you can use white or brown or multigrain bread as per your choice; (ब्रेड का स्लाइस)
  • Refined oil (or butter) - as per requirement for toasting the rabri sandwich; (रिफाइंड तेल या मक्खन)

Procedure for making Rabri Sandwich:

  1. Pour 1/2 litre milk in a deep vessel and set it to boil.
  2. When the milk starts boiling then start stirring it from the base in the vessel. Stir at regular intervals till the milk has gained a thick consistency.
  3. When the quantity of the milk reduces to half its original quantity then turn off the flame. (This process of rabri preparation would require at-least 30-35 minutes.)
  4. Add 1 tea spoon sugar to the rabri and mix weel.
  5. Then also add crushed cardamom powder as per taste and requirement and mix again.
  6. Now take one bread slice and spread a thick layer of rabri over it.
  7. Then place another bread slice over this layer of rabri. The rabri sandwich is now ready for toasting. Prepare another sandwich in the similar way.
  8. Heat some refined oil or butter over a tawa (or non-stick pan) and then lower the flame.
  9. place the raw rabri sandwich over it and toast till one side turns crispy red. Flip and pour 1 tea spoon oil or butter around the rabri sandwich, to press and toast on the other side in the same way.
  10. Transfer the toasted rabri sandwich to a serving plate. Then toast the other rabri sandwich in the similar manner. The hot, crispy, creamy and sweet rabri sandwiches are ready to be served.

रबड़ी सैंडविच बनाने की प्रक्रिया:

  1. एक गहरी पतीले में 1/2 लीटर दूध डालें और इसे उबाल लें।
  2. जब दूध उबलने लगे, तो कल्छी को पतीले के तले से सटा कर चलाना शुरू करें। नियमित अंतराल पर तब तक चलाते रहें जब तक दूध गाढ़ा न होजाए।
  3. जब दूध गाढ़ा होकर आधा रह जाए तब आँच बंद कर दें। आपकी रबड़ी बनकर तैयार है। (रबड़ी बनाने की प्रक्रिया में कम से कम 30-35 मिनट की आवश्यकता होती है।)
  4. अब रबड़ी में 1 छोटी चम्मच चीनी डालें और अच्छे से मिलाएं।
  5. फिर स्वाद और आवश्यकता के अनुसार कुचली हुई छोटी इलायची का पाउडर भी डालें और फिर अच्छे से मिलाएं।
  6. अब एक ब्रेड का स्लाइस लें और उस पर रबड़ी की एक मोटी परत फैलाएं।
  7. फिर रबड़ी की इस परत पर एक और ब्रेड का स्लाइस रखें। रबड़ी सैंडविच अब सेकने के लिए तैयार है। इसी तरह से एक और रबड़ी सैंडविच तैयार करें।
  8. तावा (या नाँन-स्टिक पैन) पर कुछ रिफाइंड तेल या मक्खन गरम करें और फिर आँच को कम करें।
  9. अब रबड़ी सैंडविच को पहले एक तरफ से सेकने केलिए गरम तावा पर रखें और लाल होने तक सेकें। एक तरफ से लाल होने के बाद रबड़ी सैंडविच को पलट दें। रबड़ी सैंडविच के चारों तरफ 1 छोटी चम्मच रिफाइंड तेल या मक्खन डालें, और दबा-दबाकर दूसरी तरफ भी लाल होने तक सेकें।
  10. अब रबड़ी सैंडविच को एक प्लेट में परोसें, फिर इसी तरह से अन्य रबड़ी सैंडविच तैयार करें। आपके  गर्मा-गरम, कुरकुरे और मलाईदार रबड़ी सैंडविच परोसने के लिए तैयार हैं।
