Prepare this amazing summer cooler Indian drink-  Kesar Badaam Lassi, with an easy and detailed recipe given below:

Preparation Time: 30 minutes for soaking saffron strands in milk and preparing the remaining ingredients for making Kesar Badaam Lassi

Cooking Time: 5-8 minutes

Recipe Yield: 2 big glasses

Alternate Names: Kesar Lassi, Badaam Lassi, Kesar dry-fruits lassi, Dry-Fruits Lassi

Ingredients for making Kesar Badaam Lassi:

  • Chilled Curd or Thanda Dahi - 250 gms, take thick creamy curd for making Kesar Badaam Lassi
  • Chilled Milk or Thand Dudh - 250 ml
  • Sugar or Cheeni - as per taste
  • Almonds or Badaam - 15-20
  • Raisins or kismis - 10-15, or as per taste and requirement
  • Saffron or kesar - few strands, as per requirement
  • Ice Cubes or barf - as per requirement

Procedure for making Kesar Badaam Lassi:

  1. Soak the saffron strands in the chilled milk for 30 minutes.
  2. Now take the almonds and sugar in a mixer jar and grind them together to form a fine powder. Transfer this powdered mixture of almonds and sugar to a plate.
  3. Then add the chilled curd to the mixer jar. Churn the curd in the mixer jar for 1 minute.
  4. Now add the powdered mixture of almonds and sugar to the mixer jar. Blend the ingredeints in the mixer jar for 1 minute to mix them together.
  5. Then add the chilled milk (in which we soaked the saffron strands) and ice cubes to the mixer jar. Blend the ingredients in the mixer jar again for 1 minute. The yummy and chilled kesar badaam lassi is ready.
  6. Transfer the tasty kesar badaam lassi to a glass or an earthen pot (matki), garnish it with chopped almonds, raisins and saffron strands and serve.

केसर बादाम लस्सी बनाने की प्रक्रिया:

  1. केसर के धागों को 30 मिनट के लिए ठंडे दूध में में भिगो दें।
  2. अब एक मिक्सर जार में बादाम और चीनी डालकर दोनों को एक साथ बारीक पीस लें। बादाम और चीनी के बारीक पिसे हुए बारीक पाऊडर को एक प्लेट में निकाल लें।
  3. फिर मिक्सर जार में ठंडा दही डालें। 1 मिनट के लिए मिक्सर जार में दही को ब्लेंड कर लें।
  4. अब मिक्सर जार में बादाम और चीनी का बारीक पिसा हुआ पाऊडर डालें। अब सारी सामग्री को 1 मिनट के लिए एक साथ ब्लेंड कर लें।
  5. फिर मिक्सर जार में ठंडा दूध (जिसमें केसर भिगोकर रखा था) और बर्फ के क्यूब्स डालें। अब सारी सामग्री को फिर से 1 मिनट के लिए एक साथ ब्लेंड कर लें। स्वादिष्ट और ठंडी केसर बादाम लस्सी तैयार है।
  6. स्वादिष्ट केसर बादाम लस्सी को एक गिलास या मिट्टी के पॉट (मटकी) में डालें, कटे हुए बादाम, किशमिश और केसर के धागों के साथ गार्निश करें और परोसें।
