Lassi Recipe - Learn How To Make Lassi

When summers are on a roll and you want to have some thing extremely refreshing and cooling, then nothing can be a better option than this sweet lassi. Its filling and an amazing summer-cooler drink. Learn how to make this wonderful drink with the help of step by step photos and detailed recipe given below:

Recipe Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients for Lassi / सामग्री:

  • Curd - 1 big cup; chilled and fresh (दही)
  • Milk - 1 small cup; chilled (दूध)
  • Sugar as per taste (स्वाद के अनुसार चीनी)
  • Saffron Strands - as per requirement (केसर के धागे)
  • Dry fruits - as per requirement
    • Almonds (बादाम)
    • Pistachios (पिस्ता)
    • Cashews (काजू)
    • Raisins (किशमिश)
  • Khoye Ka Peda - 2 (खोये के पेड़े)
  • Ice Cubes - as per requirement (बर्फ के टुकड़े)

Procedure for making Lassi:

  1. Soak a few starnds of saffron in milk.
  2.  Take the pistachios in a mixer jar and grind them into small granular form. Transfer the grinded pistachios to a plate to be used later.
  3. Now take the curd in the mixer jar and add sugar as per taste to it. Blend the two ingredients together so that the sugar is completely dissolved in the curd.
  4. Now add the milk with saffron soaked in it to the mixer jar.
  5. Leave some grinded pistachios for garnishing and add the remaining to the mixer jar.
  6. Blend all the ingredients together for 2 minutes.
  7. Now pour the lassi prepared into two serving glasses and garnish it with saffron strands, cashews, raisins, almonds and grinded pistachios.
  8. Lastly break the khoye ka peda into 2-3 pieces and add them to the lassi.
  9. Add ice cubes as per requirement and the chilled, sweet and refreshing is ready to be served.

लस्सी बनाने की प्रक्रिया:

  1. एक छोटे कप दूध में केसर के कुछ धागे डालकर सोखें।
  2. अब मिक्सर जार में पिस्ता लें और उन्हें छोटे दानेदार रूप में पीस लें। इस पीसे हुए पिस्ता को बाद में इस्तेमाल होने केलिए एक प्लेट में निकाल दें।
  3. अब मिक्सर जार में दही लें और इसमे स्वाद के अनुसार चीनी डालें। दोनों सामग्री को एक साथ ब्लेंड करें ताकि चीनी दही में पूरी तरह से घुल जाये।
  4. अब मिक्सर जार में केसर वाला दूध डालें।
  5. सजावट के लिए कुछ पीसा हुआ पिस्टा छोड़ दें और बाकी मिक्सर जार में डालें।
  6. सभी सामग्री को 2 मिनट के लिए एक साथ ब्लेंड करें।
  7. अब लस्सी दो सुन्दर ग्लास में परोसें और ऊपर से केसर के कुछ धागे, काजू, किशमिश, बादाम और दानेदार रूप में पिसा हुआ पिस्ता डालें।
  8. आखिर में खोये के पेड़े को 2-3 टुकड़ों में तोड़कर लस्सी में डालें।
  9. बर्फ के टुकड़े आवश्यकता के अनुसार डालें और आपकी ठंडी, मीठी और तरोताज़ा करने वाली लस्सी बनकर तैयार है।
